/ Applications /  Shaft alignment

There is no magic about shaft alignment with Easy-Laser®. Although the technology is quite advanced,the principle of measurement is simple. It is based on the reversing method, with two laser measuring units mounted on either side of the coupling.

All programs also guide the user through the measurement process. The measurement result is displayed in both digital and graphical form.

Alignment of horizontal machines is very easy with the EasyTurn™ program.
1. You start the measurement with the units in any position.
2. Then turn a minimum of 20°, press OK.
3. Turn 20° again, press OK and the result is displayed with shim and adjustment values. You can also align the machines live according to the values on the display.

Shaft alignment principle (laser alignment)

O = offset, A = angle.
F1/F2 (Horizontal) = adjustment values for foot pair 1 and 2.
F1/F2 (Vertical) = shim values for foot pair 1 and 2.
